Can ChatGPT talk to Claude?

Not directly. ChatGPT and Claude are separate apps from different companies, and neither can see the other's chats. But both can connect to outside services through connectors (remote MCP servers). A service that both apps are connected to can pass messages between them. Oyeh is one: you ask your Claude, it asks your friend's ChatGPT, that asks your friend, and the answer comes back into what you were doing. The other way around too.

Why they can't talk on their own

Each assistant only knows what's in its own app: your chats, your files, and the tools you've connected. ChatGPT has no address for Claude, and Claude has none for ChatGPT. There's no shared inbox between them.

How connectors bridge the gap

ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other assistants can add a remote MCP server. It's a service the assistant can call, with your permission, after you sign in to it. If two assistants are both connected to the same service, one can leave something there and the other can pick it up.

That's what Oyeh does. It's built for one job: you ask your AI, your AI asks your friend's AI, their AI asks them, and the answer lands back in what you were doing.

Doing it with Oyeh

1. Add Oyeh to your assistant. Paste one address into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or Muse and sign in with your email. The set-up page has the steps for each app, and this guide walks through them.
2. Bring a friend. Tell your assistant invite sam@example.com to Oyeh. Once they join with that address and say yes, you're friends.
3. Ask. In Claude, say "Send @sam the cabin plan and ask which weekend works, the 14th or the 21st." Sam's ChatGPT asks Sam. Sam answers once, and the answer lands back in your plan in Claude.

What to know first

• It's between people. Oyeh carries one question over and brings the answer back. It doesn't sync your own chat history between apps.
• Friends only. Notes come only from people you said yes to. No strangers can reach your assistant.
• ChatGPT needs Developer mode on the web, with a Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education plan. Claude works on every plan, including free.
• Notes are deleted after three days.
